RIDE PRIDE: The Shocker

It seems like many riders out there got their start on two motorized wheels by way of dirt bikes or motocross. I am in that group, although the bikes I was riding back in 1972 were much different than the dirt bikes today. When the owner and builder of this bike told me that he had built this bike as somewhat of a tribute to his motocross past - it all made sense. The flashy colors may not be your cup of tea, but you have to admit that this bike does hold on to the traditions of the motocross world. And I am sure many of you will have fond memories of how you got started with your love of all things motorcycles. Chad builds his bikes at home in his spare time, with the occasional help from his kids. It’s good to see that this is a family affair and the kids get to spend quality time with dad and learn some skills along the way that will be a lifelong asset.
