Occasionally, we will come across a motorcycle that has a lifetime of stories behind it. This month’s RIDE PRIDE feature is one such motorcycle. You see this bike was a dream build for Mark Cheek - a long time biker out of Oroville. Mark had worked hard on bringing this bike back better than ever. Unfortunately Mark became ill and passed away before he could finish the project in 2017. That is when Rhonda - Mark’s widow stepped in to make sure that Mark’s dream of rebuilding this motorcycle would continue through to its completion. Rhonda along with the help of friend Robb Curtis would enter this beautiful ‘55 Pan Head in the 2019 Easyriders Bike Show. And to top off this process, the bike placed 3rd in a very competitive category. We can only imagine that Mark is watching with pride from above that his dream became a reality after all.
